FANZ stands for Friends of Animals at Nashville Zoo and is a way for Zoo guests attending our education animal shows to donate to conservation projects. We offer buttons and cards featuring photos and information about some of our show animals for a $2 donation. All proceeds go to the Zoo’s various conservation efforts.

FANZ is a way for people to connect with the animals they have just seen, get a souvenir of the show, and take home something to remind them of the good work they have done. Since 2008, FANZ raised more than $22,000 for conservation projects locally and globally and is still going strong. Every year Nashville Zoo offers a new button and card so those who may already have all the others can get another one, thus continuing to give our guests opportunities to help out wildlife throughout the world.
