Traditional House & Garden Tour Information

We invite your group to step back in time to experience life in a middle Tennessee farm home. Meet several of the five generations of family members that lived here, see some exclusive original family artifacts, and hear about how the family willed the land to eventually become Nashville Zoo. Additionally, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, venture to our re-created heirloom gardens and meet the Davidson County Master Gardeners, who keep it looking so lovely year-round.

Private group tours are also available throughout the year. Schedule just a Traditional House Tour or add a guided tour of the Garden.

• Traditional House Tours are available Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. and last 1 hour.
• Traditional House & Garden Tours are available Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Tour will last 1.5 hours.
