Family-Friendly Halloween Event
Ghouls at Grassmere is celebrating another year of “spooktacular” family fun! This annual Zoo fundraiser is a community favorite boasting exciting Halloween activities designed to appeal to families with children 12 and under. This year we have more tricks and several new treats waiting for you! So put on your costume and “creep” on over for a night of ghoulish fun.

Frighteningly fun activities include:

  • Visiting all the treat stations on Trick or Treat Trail

  • Wandering through the Monster Lab

  • Catching a show at the Monsterpiece Theatre

  • Entering the Children’s Costume Parade

  • Trying your hand at games in Carn-Evil

  • Twisting through the Gypsy Mystery Maze

  • Shaking your “ghoul thing” at Monster Mash

  • Taking the Dying Traditions and Superstitions Tour at the Historic Home

  • Taking a turn on the Scary Go Round ($2)

  • Braving the Haunted Hayride ($3)

  • And much more - including visiting Ghouls’s newest resident living on Trick or Treat trail… be sure not to wake him!!


Dates:
Friday - Sunday: October 15 - 17
Friday - Sunday: October 22 - 24
Thursday - Saturday: October 28 - 30
(NOT open Halloween night)

Times:
5 - 9 p.m. nightly
**With the exception of the Unseen New World, our animal collection will be getting their beauty sleep during Ghouls and will not be on exhibit.
**Zoo closes each night at 4 p.m. and will reopen at 5 p.m. for the Ghouls event.

Event Admission:
Zoo Member: $7.00
Non-Member: $11.00

* Tickets required for 2 years and up

Ride Fees:
Scary-Go-Round: $2.00 per ride
Haunted Hayride: $3.00 per ride

Advance Ticket sales begin September 1. Purchase online until 1 p.m. on Oct. 15 OR at the Zoo's Guest Services Hut any day before 3 p.m.
