Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is open every day except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Inclement weather may cause an unannounced closing for the safety of our guests and our animals.

Hours of Operation

October 14 - March 14: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
March 15 - October 13: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Nashville Zoo will close early on the following dates:
Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 - Closing at 2 p.m. for Sunset Safari

Nashville Zoo offers $1 off admission for military personnel and everyone in their party when they present their military ID.

Visiting During Winter Months

Animals have wonderful tools of survival, including the ability to adapt to Nashville’s climate. While some animals are often more active during the cooler months, others have a harder time adjusting to the temperature and must stay inside. Click here for more information.
