Calling all photographers! Join us for a unique opportunity to photograph some of the education department's animal stars. Be sure to bring your camera and creative perspective!
Jr. Zookeeper
May 17, June 20, July 12, Aug. 15, Sept. 13
Do you have what it takes to be a zookeeper? Become a Jr. Zookeeper for a day and attend a classroom session, complete a special project, and work with a keeper in an animal care area! Each date is a separate class.
Summer Camp Counselors in Training (CIT)
June 8-26 & July 6-24
Come join the wild fun and help us with our summer camp! This is a great volunteer opportunity if you love working with children (ages 5-9) and enjoy being around animals. Applicants must be 15-17 years old.

International Migratory Bird Day
Saturday, May 9
Celebrate the importance of birds in many of the world's cultures. There will be activities for all ages that raise awareness and create a better understanding of the triumphs and plights of our feathered friends.
Member Nights

Many animal exhibits will be open until 7:30 p.m. with docents nad keepers providing "special experiences." Free carousel rides, discounts on food and additional activities also await you!
Member Mornings
Wednesdays: May 13 & 27, June 10 & 24, July 8 & 22, Aug. 12 & 26, Sept. 9 & 23
Take advantage of free carousel rides, uncrowded Jungle Gym play and the chance to see staff preparing to open the Zoo for the day, including releasing animals into their habitats.
HealthSpring Senior Day
Friday, May 29
Free admission for all seniors 65 or better! HealthSpring will also be on hand with free snack vouchers (redeemable at the Zoo's concession stands) for seniors.
