Ghouls at Grassmere Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in volunteering during Ghouls at Grassmere 2008. We have had a strong community response and are fully staffed for all six nights of the event!

Ghouls volunteers assist with: treat stations, Carn-Evil games, the Haunted Hayride, Monster Lab, Boo Bouncer, the Gypsy Mystery Maze and more!

Volunteer Shifts (4:30 - 10 p.m. each night):

Friday, October 17 Friday, October 24
Saturday, October 18 Saturday, October 25
Sunday, October 19 Sunday, October 26

Requirements:

  • Volunteers are required to wear a costume. Costumes can be as simple or extravagant as you like but must be family friendly (no blood, gore or too revealing). Face-covering masks are permitted, but you must be able to see while walking at night in large crowds.
  • The minimum age to volunteer is 10. You must be 16 years old to volunteer without an adult. There must be at least one adult volunteer present for every four volunteers aged 10-15.
  • Each volunteer must register in advance and be available to work from 4:30 - 10 p.m. (No late arrivals, early departures or split shifts, please).
  • High school organizations are required to have the school principal and organization sponsor sign a group volunteer guideline agreement. Email the Volunteer Programs Manager for the form.
  • Please do not bring children under 10 years old when you volunteer.

All volunteers will receive a light snack and one complimentary Zoo daypass. Volunteer hours count double for Ghouls at Grassmere. Join us for 25 haunting hours and qualify for membership benefits.
