Bring the Zoo to your students or community organization with ZooVentures! These ed-zoo-cational outreach programs are perfect for all ages and inspire compassion for wildlife and wild places.
ZooVentures offers both in-person and virtual options.
In-person ZooVentures are available for locations within 60 miles of Nashville Zoo.
WILDLIFE | Nashville Zoo is proud to offer programs to help students explore the world of animals and learn the importance of conservation. Live animal demonstrations, animal artifacts and activities involve the entire group.
STEAM | Nashville Zoo is excited to engage, inspire, and transform your students through incredible STEAM experiences.
CAREERS | Do you belong in a zoo? This hands-on learning experience gives a brief overview of the necessary skills, training and education involved in the many career paths within a zoo.
VIRTUAL | These 15 minute pre-recorded or live programs introduce your students to animals or take you on a tour of one of our award-winning exhibits.
Customized programs are available upon request and at an additional cost.
In-Person Programs (within 60 miles)
Pre K - 2nd Grade
20-25 minutes per program (over 35 participants; maximum 250)
$300 for the first program
$200 each consecutive, same-day program
3rd Grade - 12th Grade
30-45 minutes per program (over 35 participants; maximum 250)
$400 for the first program
$300 each consecutive, same-day program
30-45 minutes per program (over 50 participants; maximum 250)
$600 for the first program
$500 each consecutive, same-day program
Virtual ZooVentures are pre-recorded or live-streamed programs that provide up-close encounters with many of our animals and zookeepers.
$50 per 15 minutes of programming. You may purchase additional time to fit the length and needs of your classroom. Please register at least 3 weeks in advance of the preferred program date.
Title I schools can receive discounted pricing on in-person programs. We also offer programs for smaller group sizes. Contact us for details.
Zooventures programs are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. Since payment is required at least one week prior to the visit, we recommend completing a registration form at least 3 weeks prior to your preferred visit date.
