Last fall, we started construction on a massive two-floor parking garage that will increase our parking capacity by 62% upon completion. Unfortunately, this construction has limited the number of parking spots available. In an effort to provide the best guest experience and prevent overcrowding, we will continue to use a reserved entry time system.
Online, advance tickets are required for both members and non-member guests. A limited number of tickets are available for each entry timeslot to ensure each guest has a parking spot. Please note, each person (including children and infants) needs an admission ticket or member reservation barcode to enter the Zoo. Click here for questions and clarifications about the timed-entry system.
What to expect in the parking lot: Be sure to arrive at the Zoo several minutes prior to your entry time to allow for a smooth experience. On busy days, it is typical to experience delays entering the Zoo from Nolensville Pike and wait in a queue as our parking lot attendants usher guests into available spots. On our busiest days, we utilize an overflow lot next to our property and run a tram service to it throughout the day. This lot is accessed through our main lot and guests will be directed there as necessary.
Some features are currently closed inside the Zoo: Check out the 'Know Before You Go' section on our website to see all construction updates around the Zoo. We appreciate your patience in advance as we Grow Wild!
