Zoo Camps

Nashville Zoo currently offers camp opportunities for members and the community.

Each year Nashville Zoo offers eight exciting weeks of summer camp for youth ages 4 through 14! Zooper Heroes Camp is a day camp designed specifically for children with special needs that benefit from additional support. Veterinary Camp is a two-day fall break camp for teens interested in pursuing a career in zoo veterinary science.

School Break Camps

Nashville Zoo is now offering TWO fall break camps!

FALL BREAK CAMP FOR KIDS - Campers, ages 7-9, can spend a week discovering the world around them as they learn about different species through zoo exploration, hands-on activities, games, crafts and animal encounters at Native Navigators camp.

VETERINARY CAMP FOR TEENS - Teens, ages 15-18, interested in pursuing a career in veterinary sciences can shadow the Zoo's vet team during this two-day Veterinary Camp.

Native Navigators (ages 7-9)

From salamanders to skinks and skunks to sassafras, Tennessee is home to a rich variety of wildlife. Animals, plants and humans alike rely on the balance of nature to survive. Discover why so many different native species call Tennessee home through zoo exploration, activities, games, crafts, animal encounters and more!

Camp will run Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Camp activities will take place outdoors so plan to dress for the weather and is rain or shine. Campers will need to bring a snack, water bottles and lunch each day, as well as provide their own bug spray and sunscreen. There is no camp shirt provided.
